The Whitford Rainbow Toy Library works like a book library,
except children borrow from a huge range of toys, games, ride-ons, puzzles,
dress ups, parent resource books & CD’s.
The library is a voluntary
organisation run by parents, we cater for up to 80 families and membership
is open to families with children from 0-5 years.
The
fees are $70.00 per calendar year with subsidised fees for part year memberships. A
fundraising levy is included in the price which means no selling
chocolates!
We are located inside the

As a member of our voluntary
organisation you will be required to attend our AGM in February and our
stock-take in August. You will also be required to help out on up to a
maximum of four Saturday mornings from 8.45 – 11am during your
year’s membership. All of these requirements are easy and conducted
in a fun, relaxed atmosphere!

There are many benefits to
using a toy library. Here’s what some of our members said…
“I can give my children really good
quality toys without having to pay for them” – AR, Kallaroo
“I’m not stuck with a house full of toys
cluttering up our life! Especially the ‘big’ things like bikes
and cars. I just take them back – no more e-bay selling!”
– JR, Hillarys

“My kids only play with the new
things I buy them for a few weeks anyway – this way I can take the
toys back when they are over playing with them and get them something
different” – NH, Whitfords
“I take my kids in and let them choose – it’s like
Christmas every couple of weeks! They love it!” – AF, Mullaloo
